To lose weight, do not eat within a couple of hours of bedtime. Although easier to say than to do, it's worth avoiding food before bedtime, because any food you take in will just sit there in your stomach, not burning off, and eventually making its way to your fat cells. Instead, do productive things in the evenings that do not tempt you to eat.

Don't be ashamed if you have half a plate of food leftover when you are on a fat loss plan. Most parents make children eat everything if they are eating, and this can cause weight issues throughout their adult years. It's okay to take leftover food home with you. It is not beneficial or necessary to force yourself to finish everything. When you feel satisfied, put down your utensils and end your meal.

Workout while you're talking on the phone. Rather than just being stationary while talking, move around while on the phone. It is not necessary to start calisthenics! If you make an effort to walk more often and avoid inactivity, you could burn a lot of calories.

Decrease your caffeine intake. Studies have shown that caffeine actually reduces the speed at which your stored fat is burned by your body.
